One To Watch: Dimitri Bishop Illustration

Some creative inspiration for a Sunday afternoon - Dimitri Bishop, based in Bristol, creates some really effective and modern visuals that range from comic graphics to portraits. Throughout his work, his graphic and futuristic edge is present; his use of colour is bold yet selective.

Wear : Metallics in the Daytime?

Whistles Tee // Jigsaw Midi Skirt // Ted Baker Bag // Whistles Ankle Boots // Celine Sunglasses // Edge Silver Jewellery

I fell in love with this skirt when I first laid eyes on it, but the worry of how much wear I would get out of it caused me to pause before handing over my card. Then I remembered that I obviously wanted needed a new piece to wear for a friends birthday. Plus, it was nicely discounted in the sale. Since the party, she has unfortunately been hanging in my wardrobe, unworn, and waiting for the perfect roll neck knit for the Autumn. But, as the sun was out, I thought why not just wear with a simple T-shirt for day to day? After all, you must always look for that silver lining.

Read : Before you head to Paris

‘These modern Parisiennes will take you on a first date, to a party and through a hangover’
Even on first look, the cover exudes an air of coolness that initially makes me jealous of the Paris woman: Monochrome (with an unrefined appeal), cup of coffee and lit vogue in hand, with a blunt fringe and a style that’s a little rough around the edges.
