Buy : Tom Ford // Summer 15' Collection

Can you wear all pink makeup?

Who would have thought that pink hues could work so well on all features. Gone are the days of its lips or eyes, not both. Tom Ford dares you to a one colour face of differing tones for the coming summer nights, or days. And not only are the colours grouped to perfection, but the limited edition gold and white packaging for SS is a beauty. The collection is a great one, with two-in-one cream shadow combinations, Lip colour sheers, and the standout Pink Glow palette, assembled of 5 eye/cheek powders.
As with all Tom Ford Goodness, you pay for what you get; If you want it, find it here  -

Never one for pink eyeshadow -  these cranberry tones are much easier to wear than stark fuchsias or overly cool tones pinks. The plum in the crease to deepen, and add a bit of interest, softens this further. The red tones pull out any green or blue tones in your eye colour, while the purples make brown eyes look warm and intense.  05 Sweet Spot lipstick, sheer and shiny, has just the right combination of orange/coral/pink to uplift the skin and ties in the sheen on the cheeks. The palest of the powders acts amazingly as a highlight for lighter skin-tones.

The gold glitter is like a loose pigment, but in a compacted form. The glitter in a little more chunky and does fall onto the cheeks a little. But the highlight it gives is worth the extra clean up step. Use it wet? Think intense golden shimmer, but needs a lot of blending. Instead, press on with a finger to highlight at the centre or inner corner. To avoid the look of swollen or bloodshot eye overkill, add plenty of black mascara. I avoided lining the lashes, as this can make the eyes seem closed and more dull - keeping the water line free of liner helps to keep the eyes looking bright and awake. But, push the shadow into the roots of the lashes, especially the plum, to add definition in liner's absence.
